A friend had recommended Prestige Toyota in Kingston; however, I went there because they were one of only two Toyotas in a 60 mile radius that had the specific vehicle I was looking for. Interestingly, I called the 2nd Toyota as well and couldn’t get anyone to call me back. However, the experience with Prestige was seamless from beginning to end. They returned my call immediately, answered all my questions and set me up with Lou Barbaria to look at the vehicle. Lou was easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and didn’t make me feel pressured. I had a couple of spec preferences and one of them seemed really hard to find; yet Lou was able to find what I wanted at another location and had it brought over in no time. I was really impressed and happy to get exactly what I wanted. The whole purchase process could not have been easier thanks to Lou and the rest of the Prestige team.

I have a 20-year-old Toyota Land Cruiser. I needed an oil change and was stuck up in a snowstorm away from the city. I went online to the Land Cruiser forum and everyone was telling me to get the OEM oil filter. I called this place just to check to see if they had them and the price. I was pretty shocked by the parts department when they told me the oil filter was seven dollars. I then asked well how much for an oil change?.. and they had to transferred me to service. Everyone I talked to was super nice and they said that oil changes at their center range from $90-$125. My truck takes about 7 1/2 quarts of oil that’s nearly 60 bucks in oil right now, and seeing as I don’t have a garage space up here and I would’ve had to have been lying on my back in 3 feet of snow. I made an appointment. They did notify me that they do rotate the tires included, but I opted out. When I got there, the garage door opens automatically, and the people who greeted me were super friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting room was great too. There was plenty of soft seating even though they are in a renovation and they had a picnic table and a quiet room for me to work in with my laptop. 5/5 stars

Bought a Rav 4 from Prestige in Kingston from Liz Lemus last fall. Very nice young woman who answered all of our questions and no problems with our sale or the team there at all. Vehicle was ready even before I was and they let us bring our dog into the showroom. Very happy with the vehicle so far and hope we enjoy the same reliability as we have had from previous Toyota vehicles we have owned.

After a rough start things turned out great. I bought in my 2025 Toyota Hybrid Rav 4 to fix my front drive side window that dropped into the door cavity.Because the epoxy holding the glass failded. (To this day I don’t understand why a window glass on a car has epoxy to hold it in place.) I was very disappointed with the first macanic, that was supposed to fix it. He was trying to persuade me that the window broke because it had ice on it. That means that every Toyota Rav 4 has a potential to have this problem forever. I live in the northeast and I will experience ice more than once. He very rude and used foul language, and intern I use file language.He asked me if I had a garage. And do I worm my car before I use the window? On a very cold day. I said no I do not do any of the above. I did not know that I had to have that kind of requirement to buy Toyota vehicle. Anyway, Tara Roth was very helpful and considerate. She kept me up to date on all the repairs. she was wonderful and I recommend her because she did the right thing and fix my window for free.

I’ve always had good experiences with Prestige. Recently I bought our third car from them, and my sales rep Kyle went above and beyond to help me choose the exact car I needed. I originally wanted a Prius like my previous car, but there were no selections that stood out. Kyle recommended Elantra, which had everything I was looking for in Prius but with extremely low mileage and $6000 less than Prius! I’m so happy with it, and Kyle is still helping me with aftercare. I recommend him and this dealership to anyone who is shopping for a car.

I arrived at my appointment time for a regular scheduled maintenance and a state inspection. When everything was almost completed, I was approached by my service advisor, Tara, who told me I had a dirty air filter. I declined the offer to replace it after I was informed it could wait for the next service. I paid my bill and departed. Later when I got home I read the service inspection results and watched the video that was texted to me. Apparently I was having uneven wear on my tires due to an alignment issue, and there was an active recall on my car. NONE of this was communicated to me when I was at the dealership. WHY? I would have had the issues fixed while I was there. I will be getting the alignment, recall issue, and all future services at another dealer. PS- The battery in my key fob was replaced flawlessly by the gentleman in the parts department. Still no response as to WHY I was not told about the alignment issues.

Reason for the 1 star is I got called in to sign a document (4 months after buying my car) that I was led to believe had to do with an issue with my title. I arrived with my two kids in tow to sign paperwork that no one had any clue about. The notary on staff was very nice but didn’t have a clue what paperwork I needed to sign. The salesman and sales manager were not there and apparently didn’t communicate this to the notary effectively. Come to find out they asked me to come in to sign a title document that someone had lost regarding my previous vehicle at auction. I appreciate transparency and did not receive it here. Not very professional.

I bought a brand new Toyota Tacoma pick up my fourth one many issues. Safety issues had corporate come in. They no longer stand behind their product. The service manager Eric told me never to come back and buy another vehicle there he didn't like me complaining and bringing the vehicle back for so many issues. I should just spend $57,000 on the truck and whatever it is it is I think not.
